Benjamin L. "Ben" Smith, LEED GA
Ben joined LPMS in 2007, after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida. He has also earned the designation of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Associate (LEED GA).
As an Associate Planner, he has become skilled in GIS mapping and providing population forecasting and data base revisions for Evaluation and Appraisal Reports and Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
Ben has been instrumental in preparing Urban Design Policies and regulations meeting the criteria of Florida House Bill 697, as well as Smart Code applications for various Overlay districts.
